Path to Deimos - NASA RASC-AL 2016 Finalist
In 2016 and 2017, I led the team from Columbia University that was a finalist in NASA's RASC-AL mission design competition, and we presented our projects at Cape Canaveral, FL. We created a mission proposal to send a crew of four humans to the Martian moon Deimos for a 300-day stay. As part of the mission design process, I created simulations of the lighting conditions of the small moon, and an animation of Deimos.
