As fans of the show "Stranger Things," a few friends and I created an app to bring the Upside Down to life with AR. After entering a custom message, the app can detect a wall your camera is pointing at, and spell out your message with Christmas lights, just like the Byers' living room. Built in Swift using Apple's ARKit and its vertical plane detection features.
